Dear Jenifer,

AMAZING NEWS!!!!! I get to start “work” September 1st!!!! I have not completed my fundraising endeavors but enough money has been raised to begin part-time! MERGE USA is sparking interest. It is imperative to maintain that enthusiasm and start expanding our trips. So the denomination talked and decided I needed to start work sooner than later. I still have some fundraising to do so if you haven’t had a chance to give please do so! I have been sellingThirty-One bags to raise money…total so far $1500.00. SERIOUSLY! $1500.00 from selling purses and bags! God is so cool to use something like Thirty-Oneto raise money. Not only have I been able to raise money via Thirty-One but I have been able to share devotions with other consultants and support the three ladies that have signed up under me. I stand in awe of our Lord! If you live in the Chicago area we are also having a fundraiser Monday, October 8th from 5:00-10:00 at Sky High in Naperville. $3.00 from every ticket purchased will be donated to Merge. UNITED STATES update:

MERGE has reached out to Nations around the world connecting partners in education, building projects, evangelism, and other creative projects. This last year the word was put out that we would like to start partnering with communities in the United States. Immediately 5 states jumped on board: Mississippi, Pennsylvania, California, Alaska, Texas. We were praying for partnerships on the East Coast and Boston stepped up this week! If you are sports minded, Boston would be a great location to take your group! If you are interested in going on a trip or hosting a team please contact me @ Jenifer.DeCastro@covchurch.org. If you need someone to speak at your church or set up a table at a Missions Conference let me know! I am available.
