A quadruple New Testament Dedication happened in the city of Gemena, in the northwestern part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo on Sunday April 25.\u00a0 Those that now can read scripture in their mother tongues, those that did the translations, those that came alongside in all manner of support have been in our hearts and prayers for many years.\u00a0 What a celebration!<\/p>\n

The four languages are Ngbandi-Ngiri, Lobala, Mono, and Pagabete (left to right in the photo), and the people who we used to work with and some of our missionary colleagues still work with, are holding the scriptures in their hands and seeing the Jesus film in these languages for the first time.\u00a0 We are so thankful to God for these blessings!<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
