In Indiana, we enjoyed some lovely periods of snow, for the sheer beauty of the crystal white expanse, but also for the fun of it, igloos and sledding included!<\/p>\n

We are very ready for spring now though.\u00a0 Josh and Kimia and the girls were busy planting peas around the veggie garden fence today.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Spring looks a bit different in California, where I am staying with family.\u00a0 Beautiful colors of all hues, and fruit trees blooming are an absolute delight to my eyes.\u00a0 Having grown up in California and having spent most of my adult life in Africa, I have a new sense of appreciation for the drastic seasons of the midwest, but I think I’m still a mild season, warm weather girl at heart.<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them.
