My dear friend, H, was suffering from heart problems for the past few months.\u00a0 It turns out that the medication she was taking was outdated and not helping her.\u00a0 She’s now on still full strength meds and we talked and she is fine.\u00a0 I am thanking the Lord for a very dear friend, Alaji B, who played the middle man in getting her the funds to go to the mission hospital and get treated.\u00a0 I am thanking the Lord for the mission hospital staff who got her going on the correct meds.\u00a0 I am thanking the Lord for our dear friends, Leanne and Luke Turk, who are still at Gamboula and were able to facilitate this treatment.\u00a0 I am thanking the Lord for telephone connections, to be able to hear the joy in H’s voice now.\u00a0 Mostly I am thankful for the Lord’s answer to prayer, that my buddy is now in decent health.<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
