I’ve stepped on this snake, or its brother or sister, 3 times now\u00a0 in the past month or so.\u00a0 We have seen quite a few of these over the years, but only recently have I been stepping on them.\u00a0 They like to spend the night under our patio door – there is a strip that keeps them from coming into the house, but the door is hollow and sometimes when we try to catch them to throw them out into the orchard where they maybe can catch moles for us, they escape up into the door.\u00a0 Yes, it’s a lovely little thing, right???\u00a0 You can bet that when I step on them, my next step is up onto a chair on the patio while screaming for Roy to come save me.\u00a0 LOL!<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
