We have been wondering and praying about a transfer of funds from the states for the ongoing work at the CEFA farm and out in the villages.\u00a0 There was a problem because back last month our bookkeeper had to leave the country quickly in order to make it to the states for his daughter’s wedding.\u00a0 Without going in to detail and endangering future situations like this, we will just say that things worked out thanks to efforts by missionary colleagues and a dear Muslixm friend who happens to be an astute and kind businessman with many connections.\u00a0 \u00a0We are so thankful that CEFA can keep on with its village ministries.\u00a0 \u00a0Please pray with us for this same success in the near future.<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
