Behind this door and so very many like it, a family of anywhere from 4-10 people might live in one room in the huts of the Masinenge settlement.\u00a0 This particular door is the threshold of the home of the grandma I have spoken about previously, taking care of 7 grandchildren under 6 years old, with the help of her 16-year-old daughter (who is mom to one of the 7).\u00a0 When I think about the 7000 people living in this shantytown, so many of them vulnerable in so many ways, and how the virus could just sweep through here like a plague, my heart breaks.\u00a0 I\u2019m praying for protection for these hurting ones, that God would show mercy in a miracle.<\/p>\n

CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
