At the beginning of the month, when all was still normal, we had a group of students from Sweetdale life skills center coming with their teacher, Jaydene, to the Back 2 Eden farm regularly.\u00a0 They have chosen to study farming and gardening, and Jaydene, who used to volunteer at our farm, brings them here to hear from Roy about God\u2019s great love and how we can take good care of the world he has given us.<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
