Planting trees and seeds, planting hope in people’s lives, that’s what Roy is about.\u00a0 \u00a0He’s happiest when he’s got his hands in the dirt, showing someone firsthand how to take care of God’s creation.\u00a0 One of our visitors this month, Alan Johnson, in the picture carrying the tree, shadowed Roy during his family’s week long stay.\u00a0 He wanted to see, firsthand, how his love of plants could be used in ministry.\u00a0 It was at the nursery school pictured below that his mother heard him say that he got it, basically that he realized how planting and gardening could be a vital mission service.\u00a0 Please pray that hearts and lives would continue to be touched, that the Lord would use us to share his loving grace.<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
