Zweli, the farm manager, and Roy’s buddy in all ag work, had a birthday this month!\u00a0 We took him a cake and sang happy birthday to him and he was blown away.\u00a0 Just over a cake and a little loving attention.\u00a0 He is like that.\u00a0 His common expression that we all love to hear is “Wow!”.\u00a0 \u00a0His voice is quiet and like his manner, gentle.\u00a0 His “wow” is subdued, by our loud standards, but the wonder runs deep and shines out of his face and eyes.\u00a0 He often says wow as Roy shares from God’s word each morning, and you can tell he’s caught the meaning as he animatedly translates from Roy’s English to Xhosa for Sbabalo and Loyisa.\u00a0 He is a loving family man, taking care of those in his home, and he is a hard worker, eager to get things done and done properly.\u00a0 We love this guy and find it a gift to have him as our friend, brother in Christ, and work colleague.\u00a0 \u00a0Please pray for Zweli and his family.<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
