It\u2019s time to apply for visa extensions so that we can stay longer than just 3 months in South Africa.\u00a0 We turned in our applications on Friday and we would dearly appreciate your prayers.\u00a0 The hoops we have to jump through are numerous, and in spite of goofs on both sides from time to time, we have always received the extensions.\u00a0 We have to drive in to Durban, about 2 hours on the road, and usually spend anywhere from 1-2 hours in lines.\u00a0 This time we were very grateful that we left plenty of time ahead of our appointment because we found that the offices had moved.\u00a0 The hassles were minimal this time, even with the address change, and anyway the end product will be well worth it!\u00a0 A visa for more time in Africa!\u00a0 Thank you for praying for the visas to come through as we patiently wait!<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
