\"\"<\/a>August 19-20 CEFA\u2019s board met and they were able to cover all subjects on the agenda.\u00a0 They went over all activities and finances from the last two years and were able to make important decisions about the future.\u00a0 Our administrative assistant, Donatien, was named assistant director until Director Benoit\u2019s official retirement at the end of January, 2020.\u00a0 At that time, he will become director.\u00a0 We are thankful that Benoit has agreed to put off his retirement in order to give Donatien time to ease into the position. CEFA will continue to be an NGO until at least January 2021, and approaching that time further discussion will be had about the future as funding diminishes.<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
