After our little farm family church one Sunday, the farm manager\u2019s wife suggested that we use our offering to bless the poor and needy across the river, rather than just amassing our bit of cash to pay for our Sunday get together meals every once and awhile.\u00a0 What a sweet and touching thought!\u00a0 So that is what our tiny congregation decided to do \u2013 buy some sacks of manioc meal and give it to families who are struggling.\u00a0 You would have loved to have seen the delight and thankfulness on the faces of those friends who have a hard time keeping their families fed.<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
