Roy\u2019s orchid hobby has given us such joy-filled wonder over the years.\u00a0 Orchids from all over the world have been blooming on our porches and in our homes, just for the beauty of them.\u00a0 Not for food or for development, just for joy.\u00a0 \u00a0He is busy dividing up overflowing baskets and planting 3 or 4 different bloomers per basket to give away before we leave.\u00a0 Just a side comment, that plant right in front of him is not an orchid, but a tillandsia or air plant.\u00a0 Smile.<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
