I was asked to teach a first aid session to our church’s interns.\u00a0 These young adults have chosen to take from 1-2 years to train in and explore the many different projects and possibilities the church and Genesis have to offer.\u00a0 \u00a0They were very attentive even though I was with them from 11-1pm, their allotted weekly slot for life skills.\u00a0 I was pleasantly surprised because they could have been either hungry or sleepy, right?\u00a0 I didn’t have a problem with getting some of them to volunteer for demonstrations.\u00a0 Pray for these interns, that they would learn and grow in the knowledge of God and the world of possibilities for their futures.\u00a0 Check out some of what’s going on under the umbrella of\u00a0 Genesis<\/a>\u00a0\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
