Where do I even begin to tell the story of how much we love these two?\u00a0 Lynn & Gary graciously and lovingly opened up their hearts, home, and farm, first to our kids and then to us.\u00a0 \u00a0 We do life well together, I think, whether it’s happy or sad, challenging or just plain fun.\u00a0 Our main common ground is that we love the Lord and that enriches our relationship beyond your average everyday friendship.\u00a0 When one of us is hard pressed with life or work, we count on each other’s prayers to carry us through.\u00a0 Would you pray with us for Gary’s work?\u00a0 There has been a struggle going on there for a long time now.\u00a0 Pray especially that people could get back to work and provide for their families, that there would again be a caring and productive environment in the factory.<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
