We have had a couple of gray crowned cranes and some Egyptian geese visit the farm recently.\u00a0 It is great to be able to birdwatch from our backyard.\u00a0 I’m thankful that the farm’s dogs don’t chase these big guys away.\u00a0 They bark at them a bit, but they hesitate to go close and chase them.\u00a0 Maybe they are daunted by that chilly blue stare and that pointy beak?\u00a0 For whatever reason, we get to enjoy their presence.\u00a0 Our God sure has an imagination!<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
