Kim Cone, will be leaving Central Africa in mid-March, starting their retirement years.\u00a0 They have written such lovely but poignant stories of their goodbyes to dear Fulani friends, and I for one am not looking forward to those same goodbyes for us at the end of the summer this year.\u00a0 It is sweet and noteworthy, though, that the relationships that exist are deep enough to warrant goodbye tears.\u00a0 We are continuing to hope and pray that these Fulani friends that we love will understand fully how much more God loves them, that he died on the cross for them.\u00a0 When we return to CAR we will miss having Jan &amp; We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
