The view from Elizabeth’s hotel<\/p><\/div>\n

We had some sad news recently, our friend, Elizabeth Osih died as a result of a car crash.\u00a0 Her 9-year-old son survived the accident, and the driver who deserted the scene and left her for dead, is now in jail.\u00a0 She ran the hotel on the Atlantic Ocean coast that has hosted our Covenant missionary fellowship for all the years we have had missionary presence in Cameroon.\u00a0 She and her mom, who is now retired and living in Switzerland, have been dear friends for years.\u00a0 She was sweet and warm, the perfect welcoming hostess, and the staff at the hotel were as family to her.\u00a0 They are devastated, grieving along with all her family and friends.\u00a0 Please pray for them as they walk through the sorrow and even as plans are made for the future of the hotel and its many employees.\u00a0 Peace to her memory.<\/p>\n

Note; I am so sorry I don’t even have one photo of Elizabeth, she was beautiful inside and out.<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
