\"\"<\/a>Each day that we venture across the river to Cameroon, we see semi after semi loaded up with trees and lumber from the rain forest of CAR.\u00a0 The other day there were 23 of them waiting to be cleared through the border.\u00a0 We haven\u2019t recently driven east into C.A.R., but in Cameroon along the road we use to get to the capital, there are vast stretches of grassland\/farms with the occasional big tree that used to be thick rain forest.\u00a0 It breaks my heart.<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
