\"\"<\/a>Wow, we finally saw firsthand what our friends go through when they go pick up their refugee allotments of beans, flour, and oil.\u00a0 The UNHCR is still giving aid in Cameroon, 4 years out from the mass evacuation from CAR because of the war.\u00a0 Our friends often spend 2 days, standing in the hot sun, waiting for their name to be called.\u00a0 The young, the strong, and the pushy get their papers handed in first and therefore get their names called first and get bigger shares of everything.\u00a0 We understand that the quantities of supplies are diminishing and that they are being warned that the aid will end in the near future.\u00a0 Pray that these displaced peoples can grow gardens and develop some kind of earning a living.\u00a0 Pray that they will dream dreams of the Messiah, that they will be blessed by his love.<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
