The tree next to the carport was starting to lean, the soil around the base cracking as the roots were beginning to let go. \u00a0Roy decided to take it down before it took the carport roof and hood of our truck out of commission.\u00a0 So, up the trunk he shimmied, wielding just a hacksaw.\u00a0 You can imagine the prayers going on when you take into consideration Kim Cone\u2019s catastrophic fall 2 years ago and Roy\u2019s, when compared to Kim\u2019s, almost not worth mentioning.\u00a0 They both fell, with chainsaws running. Kim ended up having neck surgery and will probably always be impaired in neck movement, and Roy came away thanking God that he only had a couple of flesh wounds.\u00a0 So, Roy\u2019s initial trimming of the tree, up in the branches, was by hand.\u00a0\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

It’s a done deal now, with no injuries!\u00a0 Yay!<\/p>\n
