Sam is in process of building, pretty much in his spare time, a house for us on Lynn & Gary’s farm. \u00a0Sam and family are aiming to be here for some time yet, so we thought it might be a good idea not to live on top of them in their guestroom, and also eventually spend some retirement years here. \u00a0The view across the valley is amazing, and there are birds galore, including a fish eagle, just in front of the house plot. \u00a0The foundation is going in, and this week we’ll pray over the home-to-be, and tuck verses into the cornerstones\u00a0for blessing.<\/p>\n

One of these verses will be one that Sam & Anna have up on their wall – “My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.” Isaiah 32:18<\/p>\n

CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
