Anna had to take a picture of me coming home from work on my first day – it actually was the first and last day of “work” for 2016. \u00a0Everyone’s on holiday, because it’s not only Christmas, but summer vacation for S. Africa! \u00a0I went in to the Genesis center and met with Lynn in the admin office and Sue at the small hospice center to discuss the possibilities of how I might help come the new year. \u00a0I would really appreciate prayer for how I might best use my time. \u00a0I’m looking forward to\u00a0helping with mundane tasks that pile up, but I am hoping for plenty of time just being with patients, especially those that don’t have family and friends to visit them. \u00a0There may be a language barrier some of the time, but we’ll see how it goes.\"blog-first-day\"<\/a><\/p>\n
