Kids start helping out with adult sized tasks at an early age here, it\u2019s just part of family life.\u00a0 When I was a kid, I remember helping with the housecleaning and various chores, but my responsibilities were more to teach me responsibility and maybe to get a particular job done quicker, for example, painting the house, than to actually help the family survive.\u00a0 Here, the work for a child might sometimes be fun, but mostly it\u2019s about pitching in and helping with the huge work load just to keep a family fed and taken care of.<\/p>\n

CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
