This little friend has TB, but she’s not coughing. \u00a0Xrays revealed severe bone damage in her leg, and 3 weeks ago she couldn’t stand. For a few months before coming across the border to the mission hospital, she just sat on a mat, with her leg swollen and painful. \u00a0After treatment with antibiotics and now a week of TB meds, she’s able to stand for a bit before she needs to sit. \u00a0She will need to be on the TB meds for at least 6 months, with a good prognosis because she is young and can grow new bone. \u00a0We are thankful that they braved coming across the river, and thankful that this sweetheart will most likely be running along with her friends in the new year.\"blog-ramata\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
