Of course you have to add the necessary attention to mental health, so there just might be a peek at the grandchildren and friends on Facebook or chatting with our kids in South Africa via Whatsapp. \u00a0In the states we all get used to 4G or is it 7\u00a0or 8G now? \u00a0We&#8217;ve already been gone a couple of months, so I imagine great strides are happening, but in our neck of the woods, 2 or 3G is lightning fast! Anyway, we&#8217;re so thankful we go to\u00a0a peaceful spot away from the hubbub of the town center, under a shade tree or even in the little sitting room at the Catholic mission, to create our own little cyber cafe.<\/p>\n<p>But guess what?!?! \u00a0Today, Saturday morning, I&#8217;m posting this from our living room! \u00a0Oh we are thankful for connection with y&#8217;all!<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-report-this\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/danforth?moderation_action=report_form&object_type=post&object_id=3994&width=250&height=300\" class=\"thickbox\" title=\"Report This Post\">Report This Post<\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Most of the time in order to get online, read: have the Google page even load up, we have to go across the border in order to be right under the cell phone tower. \u00a0We can do email almost every &hellip; We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
