<\/a>Leave taking is never easy.\u00a0 Having to trust the Lord that you will see your sweet loved ones again, that they will be okay and keep on even without your physical presence.\u00a0 That\u2019s a shock, eh?\u00a0 What a gift our family and friends are to us.\u00a0 How they fill our eyes and hearts with joy and satisfaction and love. Something that I have learned over these many years of hellos and goodbyes is this \u2013 separation increases my appreciation and thankfulness for each one, and also increases my prayers as I wonder how things are going in their lives when I can\u2019t be a part of them.\u00a0 I am grateful for email and for the occasional phone call or very rare snailmail that keeps us aware of goings on.<\/p>\n
