Our friend, Erik Mararv, who is a wildlife conservationist and safari guy, was seriously wounded in a skirmish with poachers. Click on this link<\/a>\u00a0to read about the incident. \u00a0Three rangers\u00a0lost their lives in the incident, but we are thankful that Erik is still with us. \u00a0After treatment in Bangui, CAR, he was medivac-ed to Johannesburg, South Africa, where he is now recuperating and has hopes of walking and running again. \u00a0Please pray for his healing, and pray for the families of those who lost their loved ones. \u00a0Pray for this horrible situation, the attack on elephants and the need to protect and defend them.\"700erik-mararv-anda-jean-la-lr_idfnjfk\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
