Ok, I couldn’t say no. \u00a0My sister asked, and it turned out that a friend that I was to visit in San Diego that same day had plans to visit Indiana later, when I would be back home there, so it worked out for my sis and I to go to Disneyland. \u00a0It was fun and entertaining, but at the same time mind boggling. \u00a0Why do people go there with\u00a0newborn infants? \u00a0Why, in the “happiest place on earth” is it so rare to see people smiling as they walk along? \u00a0Why do we stand in line so long, so many times in one day, for just a few minutes of thrill and enjoyment? \u00a0Why do we think it’s okay to be in a veritable river of human lemmings, shoulder to shoulder, toe to stroller wheel, hip to wheelchair handles, bumping, chatting, saying “excuse me” every 3 seconds, slowly oozing toward the exit as the\u00a0night\u00a0closes in and the park shuts down? \u00a0\u00a0\"blog<\/a>Why, why, why?? \u00a0Maybe we’re just crazy! \u00a0I think we love to be entertained, love to be thrilled, and we have taught ourselves that it’s okay to pay the price of big $ and sore feet or sunburned noses for these very things. We’re searching for joy in some crazy places and at a high price. \u00a0I did have fun, though! \u00a0I had more fun being with my sister and watching her be a wild teacup turner and a laughing roller coaster rider than I have in awhile. Please don’t pay attention to the background in this photo!!<\/p>\n

Maybe I’m crazier than most, freaked out while still on the ground! \u00a0 I had a lovely time with my sister,\u00a0and we actually had some good visiting time throughout the day (when the crowd around us kept the noise below a roar!).<\/p>\n

CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
