BBC reports: A former prime minister and maths professor in Central African Republic,\u00a0Faustin-Archange Touadera, has been sworn in as president at a ceremony held at the national stadium\u00a0in the capital, Bangui.<\/p>\n

He promised to promote peace and\u00a0to carry out his\u00a0duties “without any ethnic bias” following his surprise victory in run-off elections last month.<\/p>\n

Mr\u00a0Touadera’s\u00a0inauguration\u00a0marks the last stage of the political transition aimed at ending a brutal\u00a0conflict which broke out after rebels overthrew the government of Francois Bozize in 2013.<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
