We were on our way home from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and were treated to a magnificent sunset – these 3 snapshots were taken from the car window as we tootled along the freeway within a span of 20 minutes max. \u00a0Sorry for the blur, but it was a lovely evening. \u00a0Our friend, Benny Turk, when he was about 3 or 4, was\u00a0walking along the path with me one evening in Gamboula, and he looked up at the pink and lavender and orange of the sky. \u00a0He asked me what color up there I liked best, and then proceeded to explain that God painted it up there just for me. \u00a0YES! \u00a0Benny is now at Letourneau University in Texas, and he continues to be a very sweet and quite brilliant young man.\u00a0 I will never forget his words of 15 years ago. \u00a0Let’s remember to look up and realize what God has done, is doing, and will do! \u00a0He loves us so.\"blog<\/a> \"blog<\/a> \"blog<\/a><\/p>\n

We live on an experimental\\\/training farm, near a mission station which has a hospital plus bible and nursing schools. We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
