with the kids at Ludington!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Oh what fun!!! \u00a0We enjoyed a few days&#8217; camping with Josh, Kimia, Maddie, Maia, and Emrie. \u00a0The 2 older girls climbed the lighthouse with me, all of us getting a bit spooked out on the spiral see through stairs, but we DID IT! \u00a0<a each other and God&#8217;s creation, and even got to hear about birds of prey and see 5\u00a0of them, up close and personal, including this golden eagle.<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/danforth\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2015\/08\/blog-lud3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3389\" src=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/danforth\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2015\/08\/blog-lud3.jpg\" alt=\"blog lud3\" width=\"299\" height=\"448\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/danforth\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2015\/08\/blog-lud3.jpg 299w, than Lake Michigan) just over the hill at our campsite, and Maia and Maddie tried out their new masks etc.<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/danforth\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2015\/08\/blog-lud4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3390\" although she mainly waddled around the campsite like a little duckling, but nothing ugly about her! \u00a0She&#8217;s as cute as they come, right?<a come in and madly wave to a boat full of people we don&#8217;t know and of course climb on the rocks!!<\/p>\n<p>Time to go home, but first!!!!, let&#8217;s refuel the tanks together one more time, and Covenant missionaries, we are working with all the tribal groups of the Central African Republic (CAR) but are trying to give special attention to the Fulani, a Musxlim, cattle herding, and semi-nomadic people group. We live on an experimental\\\/training farm, near a mission station which has a hospital plus bible and nursing schools. We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
