Many of you have asked about how my arm is healing. \u00a0We are thankful for good orthopedic care here in Samfam’s town. \u00a0I have had good progress with swelling going down and increased mobility. \u00a0I have just a brace\/splint that I can take on and off, which is an incredible improvement over stiff and permanent casting. \u00a0I do miss all the signatures and drawings on my old casts, though. \u00a0I had 3 strangers’ signatures, just random shopkeepers and one passerby on the street, besides all the great pictures and love messages from family and friends. \u00a0Pretty fun! \u00a0My final appointment is Dec. 10th, and we will be heading back to Cameroon on Dec. 19th. \u00a0Our plans after that are up in the air, so please pray for complete healing for my arm and for wisdom in decision making about what to do next.\"blog<\/a><\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
