Thank you for praying!!!\u00a0\u00a0 Thanks be to our Lord who answers prayer!!\u00a0 I was with some of my buddies across the river\u00a0this week, rejoicing about little baby Dahiru and his mom, who are alive and well after quite an ordeal!<\/p>\n

\"blog<\/a><\/p>\n

Dahiru was trying to make his way into the world and his mama didn\u2019t have any strength left after 2 days\u2019 labor, so we managed to get her and her mom and her auntie up to the nearest hospital with the capability to do C-sections.\u00a0 I never thought that that little baby, whose top of the head I had already glimpsed, would have survived the miserable 3 hour bumpy truck trip!\u00a0 I tell you what, God answered our desperate prayers that day, and I get the joy of being your hands and feet here, I get the joy of seeing the result of your gifts (which helped pay transport) and your prayers (which made it happen)! \u00a0I got to hold that sweet little baby and thank God for him with his family!<\/p>\n

Now wait, that\u2019s not the best part yet!!\u00a0 So, during this visit when I got to meet Dahiru for the first time, the grandma was profusely thanking me, (wow, is that embarassing!) and we got on the subject of good works vs. sin. I shared with her about the need for a sacrifice for sin, which we all have, no matter how much we do that is good. \u00a0\u00a0She readily agreed to this, and then I spoke of the need for forgiveness through that sacrifice from God, which she also agreed to.\u00a0 I told her about Jesus, who was without sin, dying on the cross for us, each one of us.\u00a0 This woman\u2019s sister, who happens to be a very close friend of mine, repeated my words, affirming the need, basically saying \u201cthat\u2019s right, you can\u2019t get to heaven without blood spilled and forgiveness from the Savior\u201d.\u00a0 She followed this up with \u201cdon\u2019t you know that\u2019s what I\u2019ve been learning?\u201d\u00a0 Oh my heart!\u00a0 We had to get going on our way, as we were already late for meeting up with some other friends, but I fully intend next week to ask my friend if she really meant what she said.\u00a0 Please pray for this friend of mine, and please pray that I would not get in the way.\u00a0 I even hesitated to write about this, I do NOT want this to be blog bragging. \u00a0I do NOT want this to be about me.\u00a0 Please pray for deep soul changes for my buddy, for our Muslixm friends. \u00a0Pray that God would speak to their hearts. \u00a0He is able, loving, and faithful!<\/p>\n
