\"alatrineconstr<\/a> \"awaterpump<\/a> \"aendlesstents<\/a>Courtesy of photos and info from our Fulani ministry colleagues, Jan & Kim Cone, we have learned about a refugee camp about an hour\u2019s drive north of the Cameroonian border town that we always visit.\u00a0 Approximately 8000 souls live in this camp that stretches about 2 kilometers in length and \u00bd kilometer in width.\u00a0 Huge.\u00a0 Mind boggling. \u00a0The UNHCR bulldozed the land, put up tents and latrines, and dug wells.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 As Jan & Kim walked around a bit, Jan told me her eyes were darting everywhere, trying to see if she recognized anyone, searching in particular for a family she is concerned about.\u00a0\u00a0 Talk about needle in a haystack\u2026it was overwhelming.\u00a0 Now, how do proceed?\u00a0 We have no more Fulani friends on our side of the river and we have been visiting amongst the ones who have rented houses in the border town in order to wait out the turmoil of CAR.\u00a0 These others in the camp come from places in CAR other than Gamboula.\u00a0 \u00a0We want to visit, we want to help \u2013 where do we start?\u00a0 Please pray for these displaced families, for health and safety and hope for each one.<\/p>\n
