Oumarou, the fellow on the left, showed up at our place about a week ago, seeking baptism. \u00a0He is a Fulani from a town a long way south of us, and his brother does not appreciate the fact that he wants to be a Jesus follower publicly. \u00a0Please pray for this young man, that he will grow in faith and understanding. \u00a0You could say a little prayer for Roy, too, to catch up on his Fulfulde! \u00a0(o;<\/p>\n

We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
