{"id":1964,"date":"2013-05-21T10:58:04","date_gmt":"2013-05-21T09:58:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/danforth\/?p=1964"},"modified":"2013-05-21T11:02:22","modified_gmt":"2013-05-21T10:02:22","slug":"processing-crying-grieving-healinghoping-praying-talking-going","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/danforth\/2013\/05\/21\/processing-crying-grieving-healinghoping-praying-talking-going\/","title":{"rendered":"Processing, crying, grieving, healing, hoping, praying, talking,&#8230;.GOING BACK!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>How do I convey to you what I feel so deep down? \u00a0Our journey over the past 2 months, yes!, 2 months already!, has been a revealing one to me, about myself and my passion and my fear. \u00a0Many many years ago my sweet daughter-in-love, Anna, asked me what my passion was. \u00a0I found it hard to respond with a one subject answer, as my heart prayers go out for so many different reasons. \u00a0Well, this past week or so, after Roy and the others&#8217; great trip to Gamboula, I have been dealing with my passion for seeing my Fulani buddies come to know the Savior. \u00a0AND dealing with my fear of the unknown. \u00a0I have decided to choose going for the passion. \u00a0To quote a devotional, which was dealing with Acts 16:25-34, that I read as I was prayerfully considering this unknown factor facing us, &#8220;I wonder what opportunities I have missed when I have chosen release from hardship over sitting tight with God.&#8221; \u00a0I am not saying we should have stayed, like Paul &amp; Silas in the prison, and let the renegade rebels (not the ones who are at Gamboula right now) take all 9 vehicles that we left with on March 24th. That would have been horrible stewardship and foolish exposure of many families to a traumatic situation, even without violence to our persons. \u00a0 No, I am saying that I am choosing to return, and there is a very remote possibility that we will again face hardship, in order to share the gospel.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1966\" style=\"width: 266px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2013\/05\/Christmas-letter.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1966\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1966\" alt=\"What is this little guy's future?  Will he hear about the Messiah?\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2013\/05\/Christmas-letter.jpg\" width=\"256\" height=\"212\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1966\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">What is this little guy&#8217;s future?
