Luke had spent hours on trying to fix that morning. \u00a0The delay probably saved all of our trucks from being stolen, as we had to take the alternate route at the last minute.<\/p>\n<p>This is how our group found the truck on their visit last week. \u00a0They didn&#8217;t quite succeed in their hot-wiring attempt, nor in their push starting attempts.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2013\/05\/blog-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1934\" alt=\"blog 1\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2013\/05\/blog-1.jpg\" width=\"448\" height=\"336\" srcset=\"http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/danforth\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2013\/05\/blog-1.jpg 448w, http:\/\/blogs.covchurch.org\/danforth\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2013\/05\/blog-1-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 448px) 100vw, 448px\" \/><\/a>We are so thankful to have avoided meeting up with the advancing soldiers, and we are especially thankful for Benoit&#8217;s and others&#8217; We are establishing relationships with the local people groups through compassion ministries; Roy through agriculture and Aleta through public health and visitation, in order, ultimately, to share the good news of Jesus the Messiah with them. CAR is one of the least developed countries in the world and is currently in continual crisis (since the coup in March 2013), so reaching out in compassion is key to reaching their hearts.
