Thank you for your prayers for this country. \u00a0It seems that things have now calmed down in most places, and that the new government is in place. \u00a0All of the friends who were temporarily staying with us due to the unrest have now left. \u00a0Some are in other places still waiting to go back to the capital, some have gone, a \u00a0bit early, to their home assignments in the states and other countries, and then some have actually returned to their homes in the capital. \u00a0 Then we have a young family near and dear to us, Karl & Mary Noren +3, who can’t go back to their work because of the continued presence, near their home base, of marauding poachers who are taking advantage and wreaking havoc because of the government’s preoccupation elsewhere. (We have heard reports of the decimation of many elephants and other wildlife.) Thank you for your continued prayer, that peace will reign.<\/p>\n
