She hiked from Eastern Congo as a refugee. She is part of the refugee student community and is in her second year of secondary school.\n\t\t\t\t<\/dd>\n<\/dl>\n<p><br style=\"clear: both\" \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n<p><!--more-->The Kenya Covenant Church (ECCK) and their congregation in Kitengela, just outside of Nairobi,\u00a0has been working with the Congolese refugee community in Kenya. Since 2009, Covenant World Relief has been partnering with the ECCK in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.covchurch.org\/relief\/projects\/cd\/kenya-education-for-refugees\/\">refugee education<\/a>. So far, more than 60 students have graduated. Education is basic human right. Education enables people\u00a0to access other rights they have. 80% of students that complete this level of education are employed through formal and non-formal employment. Education for children provides a sense of normality and restores hope to the victims of war.
