You may remember our Children\u2019s Service Project (now called Kids Helping Kids<\/a>) that focused on raising money to purchase bed nets for kids in Congo<\/a>. Bed nets are an inexpensive and simple way to protect kids from mosquito bites, which can transmit malaria. Malaria is a life-threatening disease that takes the largest number of lives of children in Congo under the age of five. Bed nets, which cost just $10 a piece, protect children while they sleeping from the deadly insect.<\/p>\n

We recently received new photos from the project, depicting the 11,000 bed nets that were purchased from funds raised by this project. That\u2019s a lot of nets and a lot of lives saved!<\/p>\n
