Janish is also the state representative for the wider district comprising seven villages. A few weeks ago I stayed at his house with Bob Shim, ECC worker in Thailand who formerly lived and worked in the Naryn area.\u00a0\u00a0Janish has a heart for the poor which make up the majority of the people in this region.\u00a0\u00a0Several years ago Janish started an animal loan project for those with few or no sheep or goats.\u00a0\u00a0Bob Shim learned of this and CWR was able to help expand the project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1568\" style=\"width: 394px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2011\/04\/Janish.jpg\" rel=\"prettyPhoto[1567]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1568\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1568   \" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2011\/04\/Janish.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"384\" height=\"255\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-1568\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Janish (on the right) with others from Naryn<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Bob and I visited more than 25 families who have or are currently benefitting from the animal loan project.\u00a0\u00a0I was a bit concerned when I heard that the project had expanded to all of the seven villages, so I asked Janish how he is able to keep up with this and all of his other leadership responsibilities.
