On September 20th, Jennifer Shaw, Christian artist and author, put on a concert at Portage Lake Bible Camp in Onekama, MI for the Great Lakes Conference Women’s retreat. Besides being a lifelong Covenanter, Jennifer is also a World Vision artist which means she is an invaluable resource to any church wanting to support Covenant Kids Congo powered by World Vision. If you regularly follow our blog, you will recognize her name as well as those of other World Vision artists such as Jason Gray and Lincoln Brewster who are also Covenanters. These artists are advocates, educators, and committed partners who help shine a light on the incredible need throughout the world, and they have been lending a helping hand promoting the opportunity of child sponsorship in DR Congo. Below is a music video of the song “To Be Loved” which is a call to action towards the injustices of the world and their effect, especially on the children. It was performed by Jennifer during the portion of her concert involving child sponsorship.
