Due to high fuel prices, Feast planners have extended early-bird pricing for everyone attending the event. People come from around the world to participate at the gathering, which will be held June 25-28 at the YMCA of the Rockies camp in Estes Park, Colorado.
Additionally, families who refer another family to attend will receive a $100 discount, as will those they’ve invited. If you are already registered for the Feast, please consider whether you know another family who would benefit from this opportunity. Both families will receive $100 off the registration fee. After the family you referred is registered, send an email to registrar Jill Ulven to let her know the name of your referral.
The theme this year is, “PLAY…for the kid in all of us!”
“We will have opportunities to learn from each other and share our journey with others of different ages and backgrounds,” says Marti Burger, a member of the planning team. “Our hope is that the people who come will be able to see more of who God is through the life example of others.”
That experience can be multiplied throughout the church as people return to the congregation and share what happened to them as individuals, families, and members of the larger community of faith.
Intergenerational learning and worship is one of the foundations for the Feast. There will be separate activities for children, but also plenty of chances for people of all ages to interact with each other.
Recreational opportunities for attenders include hiking, swimming, fishing, mountain biking, outdoor climbing tower, challenge course with high and low ropes, zip lines, horseback riding, half-day rafting trips, and many more.
